(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents not to harass and humiliate the petitioners unnecessarily by calling them in the police station time and again. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the FIR is registered against the son of petitioner No.1, however, both the petitioners are being harassed by respondent No.3 without there being any fault on their part. He submits that the petitioners have already filed a representation dated 19.04.2025 (Annexure P-3) before respondent No.2, however, no action has been taken on the same till date. Notice of motion to the official respondents only. Mr. Tarun Aggarwal, Sr. DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. After hearing learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur to decide the representation dated 19.04.2025 (Annexure P-3) filed by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of one month from today.
