B V APARNA LAKSHMI SRS,J C.C.No.1363 of 2025 The Court made the following: ::ORDER :: The above contempt case has been filed, complaining of the non- implementation of the order dated 08.08.2024 in W.P.No.17302 of 2024. 2. The writ petition was filed to declare the action of the respondents in continuing the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner vide G.O.Rt.No.853 Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (Vig.IV) Department, dated 24.09.2016, even after eight years, as illegal and arbitrary. 3. The said writ petition was disposed of on 08.08.2024. The operative portion of the order reads as follows: “Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into other aspects, this writ petition is disposed at admission stage with the consent of both the counsels, directing the Inquiry Officer to conclude the inquiry pursuant to the remand made vide memo No.460213/CPR & RD / Vig.II/ 2016 dated 16.04.2024, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.91, General Administration (Ser.C) Department, dated 12.09.2022. …” 4. The respondent filed counter affidavit. It was stated that the authority has submitted inquiry report to the Commissioner PR & RD / Disciplinary authority. A copy of the report, dated 25.04.2025, is filed along with the counter. 5. At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the inquiry against the petitioner was completed and Inquiry Officer submitted report, vide Rc.No.D4/3053/2023 dated 25.04.2025, however, with certain delay. 6. Thus, as seen from the averments of the counter affidavit, Inquiry Officer completed the inquiry and submitted report to the competent authority. Page 3 of 3 SRS,J C.C.No.1363 of 2025 7. Therefore, this Court does not find any violation of the order, dated 08.08.2024, passed in W.P.No.17302 of 2024. Hence, this contempt case is closed. No costs.
