GP FOR CIVIL SUPPLIES (AP) The Court made the following: 3 VS, J W.P.8199 of 2019 ORDER: The present writ petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: <…to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the proceedings in R.C.No.4283/2016-B, dated 11-05-2018 issued by the 3rd respondent cancelling the authorization of the petitioner to run the fair price shop No.8, Nadendla village and Mandal, Guntur district which was confirmed in Appeal A.C.D.Dis.No.38/2018-S7, 15-10-2018 being illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 19(1)(g) of the constitution of India apart from being violative of principles of natural justice and consequently set aside the same….= 2. As there was no representation on behalf of the counsel for the petitioner on 16.09.2025, this writ petition was directed to be posted on 22.09.2025 under the caption <for dismissal=. On 22.09.2025 the learned counsel for the petitioner appeared before this Court and has stated that he has given up his Vakalat. Recording the same the Registry was directed to delete the name of the learned counsel for the petitioner from the cause list and also directed to issue notice to the petitioner. Accordingly, a notice was sent on the petitioner and it was delivered on 01.12.2025. Thereafter, this Court has directed the Registry to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list and when the case was listed on 02.12.2025, there was no appearance on behalf of the petitioner in spite of receiving notice. On 02.12.2025, again the matter was directed to be posted to 09.12.2025. Even on 09.12.2025 also 4 VS, J W.P.8199 of 2019 there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. As such, the matter was directed to be posted on 10.12.2025 under the caption >for dismissal?. Though the matter is listed under the caption >for dismissal?, there is no representation for the petitioner. It shows that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. 3. In view of the above, the Wirt Petition is dismissed for default. There shall be no order as to costs.
