THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR ADMISSION, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE V SRISHANANDA ORAL ORDER Heard Sri.Siddharth B. Muchandi, learned counsel for the petitioner. Respondent is served with the notice and remained absent. 2. Present petition is filed under Section 24 of CPC with the following prayer: “Wherefore, the petitioner prays that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to allow this petition and transfer the case in MC No.76/2025 pending on the file of the learned Senior Civil Judge, doddaballapur - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:42672 CP No. 332 of 2025 to the Hon’ble Principal Judge Family Court, Bengaluru, in the interest of justice.” 3. Facts in the nutshell which are utmost necessary for disposal of the present petition are as under: Respondent/husband filed a petition for restitution of conjugal rights on the file of Senior Civil Judge, Doddaballapur whereas the wife has filed the petition under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act seeking restoration of the shared residence or in the alternative, for adequate maintenance, compensation etc. 4. Having regard to the allegations and counter allegations, possibility of reunion is doubtful. 5. Petitioner/wife expresses apprehension that if she visits Doddaballapur for effective participation in the matrimonial case, there is every possibility of assault on her by the respondent/husband. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:42672 CP No. 332 of 2025 6. To quell such an apprehension, petitioner/wife can avail the facility of videoconferencing and effectively participate in the pending matrimonial proceedings. 7. If any such application is filed by the wife before the Court at Doddaballapur, learned Trial Judge shall allow the said application and permit the wife to participate through such videoconference. 8.
