01. The petitioners, through the medium of the present petition, have sought a direction upon the respondents to pay compensation to them in respect of land measuring 12 Marlas under Khasra No. 611 and 612 situated at Village Bandan, Tehsil Gool, District Ramban, which according to the petitioners was used for construction of Additional Tower/ Shifting of 132 KV D/C Ramban-Sangaldan Transmission Line. The petitioners have also sought compensation from the respondents on account of damage caused to fruit bearing and non-fruit bearing trees standing on the aforesaid land while undertaking the construction of Additional Tower/Shifting of Tower. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners would feel satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioners with regard to compensation in accordance with law and release the same in their favour.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of by providing that the instant writ petition shall be treated as a representation by the respondents on behalf of the petitioners which shall be considered by the respondents strictly in accordance with law and a decision thereon shall be taken most expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date a copy of this writ petition along with a copy of this order is made available to the respondents by the petitioners.
04. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly.
