The present contempt application has been filed for initiation of contempt proceeding as against the Opposite Party No.2 alleging wilful violation of the order dated 31st January, 2024 passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No.309 of 2024. 2. Mr. Ashwini Bhushan, learned A.C. to Sr. S.C.-II refers to the show-cause affidavit dated 28th March, 2025 filed on behalf of the Opposite Party No.2, particularly paragraph nos.10, 11 and 12 of the same and submits that in compliance of the aforesaid order of this Court, the case of the petitioner has been considered, however, since only two seats under ‘Para Un- Reserved Category (Class 1 to V)’ were left vacant after the counselling conducted in the year 2015 and 2019, the name of the petitioner could not be recommended for the appointment as the last selected male candidate under the said category had obtained 55.67 points whereas the petitioner had obtained 54.54 points. 2025:JHHC:11095 2 Cont. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and considering the show-cause affidavit dated 28th March, 2025 filed on behalf of the Opposite Party No.2-the Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur, this Court is of the view that no case of contempt is made out against the said Opposite Party. The contempt proceeding as against the Opposite Party No.2 is hereby dropped. 4. The contempt application is accordingly disposed of. 5. However, the petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate recourse(s) as available under law for redressal of his grievance. (Rajesh Shankar, J.) Rohit/
