Case No. 21 of 2020, for the offences registered under sections 18/ 20/ 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act and Section 33 of Indian Forest Act, pending in the court of learned Additional District Judge-IV, Chatra. During the intervening period of 14/15.02.2020, Pratappur Police destroyed the poppy cultivation from Barhe and Bamee Protected Forest area. It was submitted that the name of the petitioner had come on the basis of information given by the villagers whose identity has not been disclosed. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this court earlier. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District Judge-IV, Chatra in connection with Pratappur P.S.
