Page No.# 2/2 By placing the copy of the order dated 17.09.2024, passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate cum Civil Judge, Senior Division at Pasighat, Ms. Rillung, learned counsel for the appellant submits that the parties have settled the matter and accordingly, a sum of Rs.30,00,000/- (Rupees thirty lakh) only through RTGS and a cheque of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees fifteen lakhs) only have already been issued in favour of the respondent. Therefore, the present appeal may be closed. Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for the appellant and also perusal of the order dated 17.09.2024, which indicates that the parties have settled the matter towards a sum of Rs.45,00,000/- (Rupees forty five lakh) only, to be paid by the appellant to the respondent, I deem it appropriate to close the appeal, as no issue remains to be adjudicated.
