The writ petition is filed by the petitioner praying for following relief:- "i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents no.4 & 5 to pay the subsistence allowance of petitioner during suspension period in pursuance to the suspension order dated 06.03.2024 within stipulated period. ii) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents no.4 & 5 to consider and decide the petitioner's application dated 08.02.2025 of payment of subsistence allowance of suspension period (Annexure No.3 to this writ petition). It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the claim of the petitioner for payment of subsistence allowance for the period of suspension in pursuance to suspension order dated 6.3.2024 is pending consideration before respondent no.4. In this respect, the petitioner has made a representation dated 8.2.2025 before respondent no.4. However, the same has not been decided till date. Learned Standing Counsel as well as learned counsel for respondent no.3 submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 8.2.2025 will be decided by respondent no.4 in a time bound manner. In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.4 to consider and decide the representation filed by the petitioner dated 8.2.2025 as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. It is clarified that this Court has not decided the issue on merits and the respondent authority shall independently apply its mind and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.
