1. This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking following reliefs:-
“10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider the representation and to grant compensation amount of Rs.2,00,000/- as per notification dated 25.02.2022, with interest from date of incident, within stipulated time, in the interest of justice. 2 10.2 Any other relief which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted, in the interest of justice.”

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the representation submitted by the petitioner before the respondent No.3 is still pending consideration, therefore, a direction be issued to the respondent No.3 to take decision on the representation as submitted by the petitioner within specified time frame.
3. Learned State counsel submits that as the petitioner is not pressing on merits and only seeking a direction to take decision on pending representation, he is having no objection to it. He, however, submits that the representation is dated 15.11.2022, about 3 years old.
4. Considered the submission made by the counsel for the respective parties, in view of the limited prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the case, at this stage, this petition is disposed of, directing respondent No.3 to take decision on the pending representation/application dated 15.11.2022 (Annexure-P/1) in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. However, petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh representation, if he so desires, along with copy of this order, and if, such a representation is submitted, the concerned authority shall consider and take decision on the representation to be submitted by the petitioner along with representation (Annexure-P/1) as per the directives of the Court.
5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the instant writ petition stands
