The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 20/2023 arising out of Gudri P.S. Case No. 11 of 2020, G.R. Case No.163 of 2022, for the offences registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 353, 307, 506, 120B of the I.P.C. and Section 25(1- B)a, 25(1-A), 26, 27, 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act and under Section 10/13 of the U.A.P. Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Chakradharpur, Chaibasa. On 11.05.2020, Gudri Police, on the basis of confidential information that extremists had assembled at a place near village Bagu, raided the place of occurrence. On seeing the police party, the extremists opened fired, which resulted in cross-firing. It was submitted that though the petitioner is named in the F.I.R., but his name has transpired on the basis of allegation that the extremists were calling each other by their name. It was further submitted that no police personnels were injured in the said occurrence. It was finally submitted that the co-accused person has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.3368 of 2024 and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Chakradharpur, Chaibasa, in connection with S.T. Case No. 20/2023 arising out of Gudri P.S. Case No. 11 of 2020, G.R. Case No.163 of 2022. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
