THE HONOURABLE SMT JUSTICE V.SUJATHA WRIT PETITION NO: 7041/2022 ORDER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-
“….to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents in non- payment of amount due for the last three years even after finalizing the bills, payable to the petitioner after the successful completion of the execution of works i.e., Desilting the tank bed area of Nalla tank in Bobbilapadu Village, Chandarlapadu Mandal in Krishna District under Agreement No.218/NC/2018-19 Dated 31.05.2018 for “Neeru- Chettu” programme duly approved by the respondents, as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, unreasonable and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to consider the payment of amounts due to the petitioner in respect of execution of said works forthwith and to pass such other order or orders…”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. 3. When the Writ Petition came up for hearing, on 23.03.2022, this Court passed the following interim order:-
“There shall be a direction to the respondents to pay the approved and final bill amount due to the petitioner, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.”
4. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Irrigation has furnished a copy of instructions of

the Executive Engineer, Special Division, Vijayawada vide Letter No.EE(Spl.Dvn)/VJA/Court Cases/W.P.No.7041/2022, Dt.08.10.2025, wherein it is mentioned that an amount of Rs.9,87,516/- was paid to the petitioner vide CFMS Token No.2022-1455817 (1st & Final) vide RBI Reference of Payment No.RBI3392279704933, dated 05.12.2022. 5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
