The captioned Writ Petition is filed Seeking a Writ of Certiorari to quash the order dated:28.02.2025 passed by the third respondent vide Annexure-D and issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents, to continue the petitioner in the present place as Women Home Guard metal No.125 before the third respondent i.e., at District Home Commandant Office at Haveri District. 3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 4. The dismissal notice was issued to the petitioner on 28.02.2025 with effect from 28.03.2025. The petitioner suitably replied to the same on 10.03.2025. This Court vide order - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:6810 WP No. 102059 of 2025 dated:08.04.2025 had directed the respective parties to appraise the Court about the present status of the petitioner as of today. Pursuant to the same, HCGP has filed a memo stating that the petitioner is not yet removed from the Home Guard Organization. She would further submit that a true copy of the communication received from the Office of the Commandant Home Guards, Haveri District is furnished along with the memo. HCGP, therefore, submits that the memo may be placed on record and an appropriate order may be passed. The oral submission and the memo is placed on record. The petitioner has already given a reply to the notice, hence, the third respondent is directed to consider the reply and proceed further with the matter, in accordance with the law.
