In compliance of order dated 22.04.2025, status report by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarter, Nuh on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 has been filed in Court today and the same is taken on record. In the status report, it has been mentioned that statement of alleged detenue, namely, Sajida was recorded before the Legal Advisor, wherein she stated that she was married with the petitioner around 10/12 years ago and she has two sons. Her husband (petitioner) used to beat and abuse her and did not give her any expenses. During this period, respondent No.4 - Jubair @ Jubbi started visiting their house and she start loving respondent No.4. When the petitioner came to know about their relationship, he threatened to kill them. It has also been mentioned in the status report that detenue, namely, Sajida and respondent No.4 Jubair @ Jubbi had also preferred CRWP-3096-2025 for protection of their lives and liberty, which was disposed of vide order dated 27.03.2025 by this Court with direction to respondent No.2 i.e. Superintendent of Police, Nuh to decide the representation dated 20.07.2025. Moreover, respondent No.4 had also filed CRWP No. 3692 of 2025 seeking release of petitioner from custody of private respondents which was also disposed of with direction to Superintendent of Police, Nuh to decide the representation dated 05.04.2025. Thus from the status report it is revealed that detenue Sajida is major and she wants to live with respondent No.4 Jubair @ Jubbi and not with her husband-Waseem.
