ORAL ORDER
1. The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus, directing respondent No.1, the Police Inspector of Sankeshwar Police Station, to consider the representation dated 08.03.2025, produced as per Annexure-D and to direct Respondent No.2, the Excise Inspector, Sankeshwar, to consider the representation dated 08.03.2025, produced as per Annexure-E.
2. Heard Sri. Mallikarjunswamy B. Hiremath, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri. P. N. Hatti, learned HCGP for the respondents. Perused the materials on record.
3. It is the contention of the petitioner that, he is the proprietor of Vijayalakshmi Peg Bar, and holder of CL- 9 license. Initially, he was running the business in

Mugalkod Village of Raibag Taluk. Pursuant to the
order passed by the Deputy Commissioner, the license was transferred to run the bar in Badakundri Village of Hukkeri Taluk. Pursuant to the order of the Hon’ble Apex court, the bar was shifted to Ammanagi Village of Hukkeri Taluk. It is stated that, the CL license held by the petitioner was renewed for the year 2024-25, but some of the persons having ill-will against the petitioner, are disturbing the business without any reasonable cause. In that regard, the petitioner had filed a representation to the Police Inspector of Sankeshwar Police Station and also to the Excise Inspector of Sankeshwar, but no action is taken either by respondents No.1 or 2 in that regard. Therefore, he prays for allowing the petition.
4. Learned HCGP submits that, there are no details of the incident referred to in Annexure-D in the proceedings produced as per Annexure-A. However, he has no objection to direct the respondents to

consider the representation, and to take needful action.
5. In view of the above, the petition is liable to be allowed. Accordingly, I pass the following:
ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed. ii. Respondent No.1 is directed to consider the representation dated 08.03.2025 produced as per Annexure-D and respondent No.2 is directed to consider the representation dated 08.03.2025, produced as per Annexure-E, and to pass necessary orders on the same, within three months from the date of receipt of copy of the
order.
