Learned counsel for respondent-State on instructions submits that she was informed that, petitioner earlier filed writ petition bearing WPC No. 528 of 2025 which was disposed of with the direction to respondents therein to consider the claim of petitioner. Accordingly, Collector considered the claim of petitioner and vide order dated 20.03.2025 rejected his claim on the ground that for the relief as sought for by petitioner, he has to first move an application for partition of holdings. In absence thereof, no proceedings can be initiated. She places copy of
order passed by Collector dated 20.03.2025 for perusal.
2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner has not brought to his notice about the aforementioned order, therefore, he may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition, with liberty to file appropriate proceedings before appropriate authority.
3. In view of the submission made by counsel for petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. Certified copy as per rules. sd/- (Parth Prateem Sahu) Judge alfiza
