IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 1150 of 2025 Md. Gulfaraz @ Gullu @ Md. Gulfaraz Alam, aged about 30 years, son of Md. Samim Ahmad @ Md. Samim, resident of Chhotikodarjanna, P.O.- Gangaprasad, P.S.- Sahibganj (M), District- Sahibganj. … Petitioner - Versus - The State of Jharkhand … Opp. Party ------ CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. Gautam Kumar, Advocate For the State : Mr. Satish Kumar Keshri, A.P.P. --- 02/12.02.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No.05 of 2025, arising out of Sahibganj (M) P.S. Case No.74 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 64(2) (M), 351(2) of the B.N.S., 2023 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Sahibganj. In the night of 05.09.2024, the petitioner is alleged to have entered into house of the informant and raped her. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that parties have settled their dispute and the prosecutrix has filed an application before the Sessions Court that the matter has been settled between the parties and petitioner is an innocent person. The petitioner has tried to tamper with the evidence while he is in custody. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
