ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent No.4 in calling the Petitioner to the Pullampet Police Station, as illegal, arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the Respondent No.4 herein not to call the Petitioners to the Police Station at the instance of the Respondent Nos. 4 and 5 herein.”
2. Heard Sri Nimmala Satyanarayana, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that, at the time of the general elections, the petitioner was called to the police station; however, no case is pending against the petitioner, and there is no necessity for the police to regularly call the petitioner to the police station.
4. For ready reference, the written instructions are extracted hereunder:
“It is further submitted that, the 3rd Respondent police called the petitioner for bound over the petitioner for good behavior for a period of six months in view of forthcoming General Election-2024 under Section 110(e) of Cr.P.C. against him for assuring good behaviors for keeping peace village in view of forthcoming General Elections-
2024. Further the 2nd respondent served the notice vide MC No.54/2024 dated:28-03-2024.”
5. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are
directed not to call the petitioner to the police station in the absence of any crime registered against him. There shall be no order as to costs.
