GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING (AP) The Court made the following order: 2 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO WRIT PETITION NO.2882 of 2024 ORDER: The present writ petition is filed questioning the inaction on the part of the respondents herein in not releasing the final bill amount of Rs.3,71,329/- on construction of kitchen shed cum storeroom, MPPS, Mulakuduru, Ponnur Mandal by the petitioner, which was noted in the measurement book. 2. The 7th respondent/Deputy Executive Engineer, Samagra Shiksha, Guntur, on his behalf and on behalf of respondents 5 and 6 filed counter duly admitting that the works were completed and necessary entries were made in the M-Book duly recording all the work done components by the concerned Field Engineer, and the same have been check measured and authorized by the Deputy Executive Engineer, SS, Guntur and the final amount of Rs.3,71,329/- has to be paid to the petitioner. it is further submitted that a request was submitted by the District Educational Officer, Guntur to the Director, Mid Day Meals, AP., Vijayawada vide Lr.Rc.No.2824/(B3)A8/ MDM/2012, dated 28.02.2024 to release an amount of Rs.3,71,329/- for making payment to the petitioner. 3. As the respondents have not disputed the work done by the petitioner and the payment due to the petitioner, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition directing the respondents to pay the 3 admitted amount to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the petitioner is entitled to claim interest @ 6% per annum from the date of order till the date of realization of the amount. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
