Awas Evam Vikas Parishad executed a registered lease deed dated 11.01.2018 in respect of Plot No.11/3/7 situated at Awas Vikas Colony, Satyavanpuri, Katra, Basti in favour of the petitioner. Later on, it filed Original Suit No.48 of 2021 against the petitioner for cancellation of the said deed on the ground that the petitioner had obtained the same by playing fraud inasmuch as the caste certificate submitted by him for procuring allotment of the plot was a manipulated document. The said suit is stated to be pending and the petitioner is contesting the same. During its pendency, the petitioner moved applications before the respondent- Parishad for refund of the money deposited by him alongwith interest or in the alternative deliver possession of the plot to him. It is submitted that the respondent-Development Authority be directed to take decision on the said applications. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the U.P. Awas Evam Vikas Parishad does not oppose the said prayer. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondent-Parishad to decide the representations dated 15.10.2024 and 11.04.2025 within six weeks from the date of communication of the instant order alongwith photocopy of the representations.
