The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA GUNARANJAN MOTOR ACCIDENT CIVIL MISCELLANEOUS APPEAL NO: 169/2022 JUDGMENT: None appeared for the appellant. After the filing of this appeal, on the very date of listing, there was no representation on behalf of the appellant. Thereafter, this Court adjourned the matter on 21.04.2022 to a week thereafter. On 22.02.2024, learned counsel for the appellant was permitted to take out personal notice on the respondents and file proof of service, and the matter was adjourned for four weeks. Again, when the matter was listed on 21.03.2024, neither did the learned counsel for the appellant appear, nor was proof of service filed as directed earlier. The matter was then adjourned to 18.06.2024; even on the said date, there was no appearance for the appellant, nor was any proof of service filed. 2. It was again listed on 23.07.2025, on which date, learned counsel for the appellant requested time to file proof of service. Again, it was listed on 28.07.2025, yet there was no representation for the appellant. Thereafter, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "for dismissal." It was again listed on 04.08.2025, on which date, though the matter was under the caption "for dismissal," this Court reluctantly granted further time upon the request that learned counsel would file proof of service. 3. Even today, the learned counsel on record is not present; however, a proxy counsel named Sri Ramanjaneyulu sought further time. Since the matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal," and the learned counsel has shown little interest in pursuing the appeal either by appearing before this Court or by 4 failing to serve notice on the respondents and file proof of service. It appears that the appellant has no interest in pursuing the appeal. 4. In view of the same, this Motor Accident Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.
