GP FOR HOME (AP) The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE B.V.L.N.CHAKRAVARTHI WRIT PETITION No.11172 of 2019 ORDER: The present writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent not to interfere with the petitioner’s peaceful possession and enjoyment of the land admeasuring Ac. 1.34 cents in Sy. No. 191/3B, situated at Patharamavaram Village, Gangavaram Agency Mandal, East Godavari District. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and Sri R. Mallikarjuna Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, appearing for the respondents. 3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submitted that the revenue officials had earlier reported that proceedings under Section 144 of the Cr.P.C. were promulgated in respect of the subject land, as both parties were quarrelling over the same. It was further submitted that the police and revenue officials are not interfering in the matter, as it is a civil dispute. The submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader are placed on record. 4. Upon considering the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader that the dispute is civil in nature and that the police will not interfere in such civil disputes, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed at the stage of admission, without going into the merits of the case. There shall be no order as to costs.
