Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Rail Muri P.S. Case No. 06 of 2023, NDPS Case No.02 of 2024, for the offence registered under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of Sri Sailendra Kumar, learned AJC-V, Ranchi.
It is alleged that 11.750 kgs. of cannabis were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
Criminal antecedent report of the petitioner, earlier called for, has been received. It appears that apart from this case, petitioner is not accused in any other case.
It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 05.11.2023.
In view of the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Sailendra Kumar, learned AJC-V, Ranchi, in connection with Rail Muri P.S. Case No. 06 of 2023, NDPS Case No.02 of 2024.
