GP FOR REVENUE 2 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent No. 4 for continuously calling the petitioner over Phone to come to the police station without registering any crime against the petitioner is illegal, arbitrary and violations of Criminal Procedure Code and Articles 14, 19, and 21 of the Constitution of India and pass such other order or orders may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.” 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that the Police are not calling the Petitioner to the Police Station and no crime is registered against the Petitioner. 3. Sri Dasari S.V.V.S.V.Prasad, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the Police not to call the Petitioner to the Police Station. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Respondents – Police are directed not to call the Petitioner to the Police Station in the absence of any crime registered against him. There shall be no order as to costs.
