Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs: “10.1 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to provide the possession of the land bearing Khasra No.45/2, admeasuring-0.1860 Hectare, Gram- Pendridih, P.H.No.41, Tehsil – Jerghagaon, District Mungeli(CG) to the petitioner with immediate effect. 10.2.That, any other relief and direction which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case be granted to the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that pursuant to order passed by Commissioner upholding the order of Sub Divisional Officer, petitioner is entitled for land, subject matter of revenue proceedings, and therefore, he submitted an application before Tahsildar for providing possession of land in dispute encroached by other persons, however, no action has been taken. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that action has been taken by Tahsildar on 29.10.2025 and a memo to the Revenue Inspector for removing encroachment from land of petitioner has been issued and last date for compliance of order is 7.11.2025. Thus, Tahsildar has already initiated proceedings for removing encroachment to grant possession to petitioner. 3 4. Heard learned counsel for respective parties and perused the documents annexed with record of writ petition. 5. In view of submission made by learned counsel for respective parties and also memo dated 29.10.2025 issued by Tahsildar, I do not find any good ground to proceed with this case any further. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, petitioner will be at liberty to approach this Court if any exigency arises in future. Sd/- (Parth Prateem Sahu) JUDGE Gopal
