1. This is an o0ce reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 28.06.2024, passed in MCRC No. 3854 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the petitioner, namely, Lakhan Ochani, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certi9ed copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for conclusion of the trial vide order dated 01.07.2025 in CRMP No.2028/2025.
4. The learned 4th Additional Sessions Judge/Special Judge (NDPS Act), Durg, District – Durg (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 25.10.2025 has requested for grant of 02 month’s time for concluding the trial.
5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that the present case is at the stage of 9nal argument, and all the prosecution witnesses have been examined by the trial Court, the trial is likely to take some time for its conclusion. Hence, he prays for grant of 02 month’s time for concluding the trial.
6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is
directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of 02 months from today.
7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed o2 with the aforesaid direction.
8. Registry is directed to send a certi9ed copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
