This Court, vide order dated 25.01.2024 passed in MCRC No. 8418 of 2023, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Aagay Mandal and Ranjeet Rohito had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certi?ed copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 3. Earlier on one occasion also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 25.01.2024. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Bilaspur District-Bilaspur (C.G.) vide her request letter dated 30.10.2025 has requested for grant of four months additional time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that the case is ?xed for securing the presence of accused persons Agya Mandal and Ranjit Mahato. For ensuring the presence of the accused persons, arrest warrants are being issued through the Nodal O;cer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, Bilaspur. However, due to the continuous absence of the accused persons, unnecessary delay is being caused in the disposal of the case. Further, the witnesses are not appearing on the scheduled dates. At present, a total of 291 NDPS cases are pending before the competent Court, out of which 52 cases are within the time-bound category, for the disposal of which continuous eCorts are being made. Therefore, it is humbly prayed that, for the ?nal disposal of the present case, an extension of four months may kindly be granted. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed o8 with the aforesaid direction. 8.
