The petitioner has filed this writ petition with the following prayers:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to release the arrears Rs. 4,67,267/- of salary from September 2005 to August-2012 on completion of 7 years of time bound pay scale to the petitioner with interest @ 12% per annum from the date of entitlement to its actual payment, in accordance with law. 10.2 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as it may deems fit and appropriate.” 4. Today, when the case is called, learned counsel for the petitioner is not present nor any representation made on behalf of the petitioner to press this petition on repeated calls and it appears that the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the matter, as such this Court has left with no other option, but to dismiss the writ petition for want of prosecution. 3 5.
