“10.1.That, this Hon’ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus/certiorari or of like nature to the respondents to consider and decide the application/ representation of the petitioner dated 06/10/2025 (Annexure- P/5) expeditiously by speaking order in accordance with law and in an objective manner within stipulated period.
10.2. That, a command/direction may kindly be issued against the respondents that till the
application/representation of the petitioner is finally decided the eviction proceeding shall be kept in abeyance and no coercive steps should be taken against the petitioner for the removal of his possession over the subject land and residential house and alternatively the status quo may kindly
directed to be maintained by the respondent authorities.”.
2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is only praying for relief of a direction to respondent No.2-Collector to take decision on representation, Annexure P-5, submitted before him for grant of patta of land possessed by petitioner.
3. Learned State Counsel would submit that as the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and only praying for a direction to respondent No.2 to take decision on his pending application/representation, she is having no objection in grant of such relief.
4. Heard learned counsel for respective parties and perused the documents annexed with writ petition.

Taking into consideration facts and circumstances of case, limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, which is not opposed by learned counsel for respondent- State, without commenting anything on merits of petitioner's case, this writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider and decide representation of petitioner dated 16.10.2025 (Annexure P-5) in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt of the order.
