This is a petition filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 with the prayer to initiate the proceedings against the respondents for willful and intentional disobedience of the order dated 19.12.2024 (Annexure P-1) passed by Division Bench of this Court in CWP-34622-2024. 2. Learned State counsel has submitted that in compliance to the order dated 19.12.2024 passed by the Division Bench of this Court, a detailed compliance report dated 09.05.2025 is filed, which is taken on record. A copy of the same has been given to learned counsel for the petitioners. Paragraph 5 of the said compliance report reads as under:- “5. That Executive Engineer, Punjab Pollution Control Board Kapurthala in its detailed report dated 06.05.2025 has Davinder Kumar 2025.05.13 17:42 I attest the accuracy and authenticity of this order / judgment COCP-2004-2025 2 stated that said site visited was on dated 02.01.2025. Subsequently, the notice for personal hearing was given on dated 22.04.2025 and for 06.05.2025. The copy of the above report dated 06.05.2025, received vide letter no. 897 dated 06.05.2025, is attached as Annexure R4/A. Thereafter, the Final order to seal the plant and machinery was done on dated 07.05.2025 vide order 2218 dated 07.05.2025. Accordingly, the sealing of the plant & machinery has been done on dated 07.05.2025. The Action taken report received vide letter no. 910 dated 08.05.2025 from Executive Engineer, Punjab Pollution Control Board Kapurthala is attached as Annexure R4/B.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the same, the present petition be disposed of. 4. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of.
