ORDER:
The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“…to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction more fully one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in trying to cancel the Pattas issued by them after due process of law in respect of Petitioner's land of an extent of 1-42 cents in Sy.No.1044/3 situated in Gunjepalli Village, Mudigubba Mandal, Ananthapur District, is illegal, improper, arbitrary in violation of Principles of Natural Justice, Rights guaranteed Under Article 300-A of the Constitution of India besides being opposed the principles of Natural Justice and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with the peaceful possess and enjoyment of the Petitioner's land of an extent of an extent of 1-42 cents in Sy.No.1044/3 situated in Gunjepalli village, Mudigubba Mandal, Ananthapur District and pass such other order or orders…”
2. Basing on the complaint made by respondent No.8, respondent No.4- Tahsildar issued notice dated 22.05.2023, directing the petitioner to appear for an enquiry with all relevant documents, fixing the date as 29.05.2023. The said notice was assailed in the present writ petition.
3. Heard Ms.Sesharajyam, learned designated Senior Counsel, assisted by V.Hima Bindu, learned counsel for petitioner, learned Government Pleader for respondent Nos.1 to 7 and Sri B.V.Anjaneyulu learned counsel for respondent No.8.

Learned Senior Counsel has stated that the petitioner has submitted/provided all the documents that queried in the impugned notice to the concerned respondent and the learned counsel requested that it would suffice if the respondents are directed to conduct the enquiry as expeditiously as possible duly considering the documents provided by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for respondents did not significantly oppose the submission made by the learned Senior Counsel.

Therefore, the present Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent No.4-Tahsildar to conduct the enquiry, by giving opportunity of hearing to both the petitioner as well as respondent No.8, and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, respondents are
directed to maintain status quo existing as on today. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
