This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of Respondent No.3 in not registering a First Information Report (F.I.R) against Respondent No.4 pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner dated 20.12.2024 as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional, unjust and violative of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, Consequentially direct the Respondent No.3 herein to register a First Information Report (F.I.R) pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner dated 20.12.2024…”
2. Heard Sri G.S.S.S.Suryanarayana, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents.
3. This petition is filed seeking a direction to the Police to register the crime on the representation made by the petitioner dated 20.12.2024.
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the Police have not registered the crime basing on the representation of the petitioner since the subject matter is civil in nature.
5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedies before appropriate forum. No
order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _________________________________________
