By this petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioners have prayed for the following relief(s): “A. Quash the FIR dated 24.02.2025, bearing Crime No. 194/2025, registered at Police Station Civil Lines, the offences District Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, punishable under Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961; B. Quash the consequential Charge Sheet bearing No. 654/2025 dated 25.07.2025 wherein the Petitioners have been made accused for offences punishable under Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961; C. Quash the entire Criminal Proceeding arising thereby bearing Criminal Case No. 23647/2025 registered vide 3 order dated 12.08.2025, whereby the Learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bilaspur has taken cognizance of the matter; D. Any other order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case may also kindly be passed in favour of the Petitioners;.” 4. It transpires from the order dated 11.11.2025 that petitioner No.1 in person has appeared before this Court and has submitted that time may be extended so that he may deposit the amount for mediation as was ordered by this Court on 15.10.2025. 5. Today, no one has appeared on behalf of the petitioners to press the petition. Furthermore, the amount that the petitioners had undertaken to deposit has also not been deposited. 6.
