GP FOR REVENUE (AP) 3 HBKM,J W.P.No.6408 of 2020 The Court made the following Order: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents. 2. This writ petition was filed questioning the action of the respondents in trying to dispossess the petitioners by demolishing their houses to assign their open land in Gurralapalem Village Grama Kantam in Gurralapalem Village, Laveru Mandal, Srikakulam District for assigning the same in Navaratnalu Programme. 3. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the respondent authorities concerned will follow the due procedure with respect to the subject lands. 4. In view of the above said facts and circumstances, the respondent Nos.2 and 3 are directed to deal with the subject thatched houses and sheds, if any, strictly in accordance with law and if the petitioners are otherwise found to be in possession of the same, they shall be dealt with in accordance with law, by hearing all the parties concerned, including the petitioners, giving due opportunity, upon verification of the records and the subject houses/lands in the said village an appropriate decision shall be taken on its own merits. 5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Interim order if any deemed to have been vacated.
