No.5/RC/2016 dated 25.09.2016 is contrary to the regulations framed by the respondents; a) declare the action of the 1st respondent in deleting the B.Sc Agriculture qualification from the zone of consideration for the post of Assistant Professor in Veterinary as arbitrary, illegal and violative of U.G.C regulations besides violation of Article 14, 16 of Constitution of India; b) declare that the petitioner is fully eligible and qualified as per the regulations framed by the respondents 2 and 3 for the post of Assistant Professor in Veterniary Extension; c) direct the 1st respondent university to permit the petitioner to appear for the selection process and permit him to appear for the selections by duly treating him to be fully eligible and qualified for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor in veterniary extension and upon such consideration if the petitioner is selected then appoint the petitioner as an Assistant Professor in veterniary extension with all consequential benefits difficulties in the interest of justice....” 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri Challa Hrudaya Raj, learned counsel representing Sri K.S.V.Subba Rao, learned counsel for the 3 MRK,J W.P.No.35558 of 2016 petitioner submitted that in view of subsequent events taken place in the lis, the relief in the writ petition has become infructuous. 3. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
