The petitioner was shown as Accused No.7 in a private complaint. The 3^'^ respondent - Police have filed charge sheet vide C.C.No.1736 of 2023 on the file of the I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, Krishna District. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s children are staying at United States of America. The petitioner’s daughter-in-law is a pregnant lady and therefore, he intends to visit United States of America. He further submits that the petitioner’s passport is valid up to 01.06.2026 and his visa is valid up to 20.03.2027, therefore, he filed an application seeking to renew his passport vide passport bearing No.N9108793 issued by the 2 respondent. 3. nd Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred a criminal petition vide Crl.P.No.9012 of 2024 to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1736 of 2023. Along with the criminal petition, the petitioner has filed the memorandum of understanding which includes terms of compromise. 4. \ \ \ Clause (f) of the compromise agreement reads as under: 5. f. The First Party as already filed quash petition (CrI.P.No.9012/2024) before the Hon’ble High Court seeking the quashment of C.C.No.1736 of 2023 on the file of the I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, Krishna District. The Second Party agrees to cooperate in the quashment of the said charge sheet by way of compromise. 4 JS,J W.P.No.20912/2025 6. On 03.04.2025, Smt. Sajja Kanka Durga has entered into to withdraw all the cases that are pending before the Hon’ble Courts petitioner was shown as respondent No.2 in the said compromise. 7. On 23.09.2025, this Court has allowed the Criminal petition No.9012 2024 by recording the compromise entered in between the parties. a compromise and the of 8. In view of allowing of the criminal petition, this Court comes to the conclusion that no further proceedings are pending against the petitioner more particularly C.C.No.1736 of 2023 on the file of the I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, Krishna District. Therefore feels it appropriate to direct the 2 this Court respondent to renew the passport of the nd petitioner forthwith. 9.
