GP FOR SERVICES II The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WRIT PETITION No.26127 of 2025 ORDER: In the present Writ Petition, the Petitioner is seeking for enhancement of age of superannuation from 60 to 62 years in pursuance of G.O.Ms.No.94, dated 12.08.2025 issued by Health, Medical and Family Welfare (G.2) Department, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The Petitioner had worked as Asha Worker in Primary Health Centre, Dumbriguda Village, Alluri Sitarama Raju District for 29 years. As per the service rules invoked, the Petitioner had retired from service on attaining the age of superauunation i.e., 60 years on 30.04.2025. While so, the Respondent No.1 had issued G.O.Ms.No.94, Health, Medical and Family Welfare (G.2) Department, dated 12.08.2025 enhancing the age of superannuation of the employees of Asha Workers from 60 to 62 years. As the Petitioner had retired on 30.04.2025, the representations were submitted for extending the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.94 for enhancing the age of retirement to the Petitioner. 4 3. Sri S.Raju, learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the representations of the Petitioner would be considered as expeditiously as possible. 4. Considering the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondents to consider the representations of the Petitioner for the benefit of enhanced age of retirement for Asha Workers upto 62 years as provided in G.O.Ms.No.94, Health, Medical and Family Welfare (G.2) Department, dated 12.08.2025 within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
