...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an order, writ or direction, more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents, more particularly the 5th respondent, in not approving the petitioner's leave application and in failing to relieve him pursuant to the transfer order dated 06.06.2025, thereby denying him the opportunity to join at the new station is illegal arbitrary unjust and violative of Art 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to approve the petitioner's leave for the period from 01.10.2024 to 20.04.2025 and to relieve the petitioner from his present station and permit him to join at the new place of posting in accordance with the transfer
order dated 06.06.2025 and (i) Set aside the proceedings issued by 5TH respondent vide Rc.No.HR-l/2483891/2024 dated 20.12.2024 and pass IA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased Pleased to direct the respondents to relieve the petitioner from his present station and permit him to join at the transferred post at Pamarru as per transfer order dated 06.06.2025 pending disposal of the above writ petition in the interest of Justice and pass Counsel for the Petitioner:

ORDER:

Learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Nos.5 to 7 submits that pursuant to the interim orders passed by this Court on 18.08.2025, the petitioner was given posting and the cause in the present Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication and it has become infructuous. In that view, no orders are required to be passed.
2. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed, as infructuous.
3. No order as to costs.
4. As a sequel, pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
