1. At the outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that all the retiral dues of the petitioner have already been settled except the arrears of Dearness Allowance (DA), which have not been paid. 2 regard, a liberty may be extended to the petitioner to file a representation before the concerned Department to release the arrears of Dearness Allowance (DA) as also other arrears with regard to the pay fixation, if any, in an expeditious manner.
2. Counsel for the other side would not oppose the aforesaid prayer.

Having considered the aforesaid submissions and also considering the limited relief sought by the petitioner, this Court deems it appropriate to direct that if a representation is filed by the petitioner before Respondent No.2, the said respondent shall examine the issue and decide the same in an expeditious manner within an outer limit of 6 months from the date of filing of said representation. However, if any grievance of the petitioner in this regard still remains, the petitioner would be at liberty to avail an appropriate legal remedy available to him in accordance with law. Ordered accordingly.
4. With the aforesaid direction/observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Sd/-
