The Special Officer has meticulously inventorised the articles and there is no dispute. Those articles mentioned in the report are found during inventory. The antique items, the jewelleries and the paintings mentioned in the inventory list, shall not be alienated and/or encumbered and/or dealt with till the disposal of the suit. 3. The Special Officer shall be entitled to a further remuneration of Rs.20,000/- to be paid by the appellant within one week from date. 4. The Special Officer shall stand discharged. 5. Having regard to the nature of the relationship between the parties, the dispute between the parties are referred to mediation. 6. Accordingly, we appoint Hon’ble Justice Madumati Mitra, former Justice of this High Court, as Mediator. 7. We direct the parties to actively participate in the mediation proceeding in terms of the direction passed by the learned Mediator and to attend each and every date of mediation to be fixed for leaned Mediator and all attempts should be made to resolve the disputes and differences in mediation. 8. The parties are directed to appear before the learned Mediator either physically or virtually as the appellant no.1 is staying abroad. 9. Learned Counsel for the parties have assured that they would cooperate with the learned Mediator in arriving at a settlement. 10. This order shall be immediately communicated to the Member Secretary, Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court at Calcutta, to take further step in this regard. 11. Appropriate notice be served upon the learned Advocates-on-Record for the parties, indicating this order along with date and time to be fixed by the learned Mediator in terms of this order. 12. In the event the parties arrive at an amicable settlement in course of mediation, the parties may file an appropriate application in the pending proceeding for disposal of the suit in terms of the settlement. 13. The appeal and the application stand disposed of. 14. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
