ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for respondents.
The petitioners have approached this Court, seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider representation dated 25.10.2024, produced as per Annexure-D.
2. Heard Smt.Sunila P. Kulasoor, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri T.Hanumareddy, Learned Additional Government Advocate for respondents. Perused the materials on record.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the father of the petitioners was granted land measuring 8.31 acres in Sy.No.133/1 Nirasagar village, Kalghatagi Hobli, Dharwad District, and after his death, the petitioners are in possession and cultivation of the property. Now it is stated that the respondents have made an entry that the land in question is a ‘Sarkari Pada”. Being aggrieved by the same, the petitioners submitted a representation to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to delete such entry in column No.9 and show the name of the petitioners. It is stated that the said representation is not considered by any of the respondents.

4. Learned Additional Government Advocate has no objection to direct the respondents to consider the representation, in accordance with law.
5. In view of the above, the petition is liable to be allowed, and I proceed to pass the following:
ORDER (i) The petition is allowed. (ii) The respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 25.10.2024, produced as per Annexure-D, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, within three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
