Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by order dated April 5, 2025 by which the domicile certificate of the petitioner has been cancelled on the complaint filed by one private individual. 3. Upon perusal of the impugned order it is clear that the same has been passed without granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 4. In light of the same, it is clear that principles of natural justice have been violated. 5. Accordingly, the impugned order dated April 5, 2025 is quashed and set aside with a direction upon the authority concerned to grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and thereafter, pass a reasoned order in accordance with law. 6.
