Date : 16/07/2025 ORAL ORDER [1] The prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to grant the benefits to the petitioners as provided under the Government Resolution dated 17.10.1988. [2] In my view, having regard to the contentions advanced by the petitioners, it would be appropriate to direct the petitioners to submit a representation highlighting their entitlements to the 2nd respondent. The 2nd respondent shall consider the claims made by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after taking into consideration the relevant Government Resolutions
C/SCA/8637/2017 ORDER DATED: 16/07/2025 and also the entitlement of the petitioners vis-a-vis the said Resolution. Four weeks’ time is granted to submit a representation and within eight weeks thereafter, the 2nd respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders. [3] In light of the above, present petition stands disposed of. Rule is made absolute to the aforesaid extent. [4] In the light of the cause stated in Civil Application No.2 of 2019, the said application is allowed and the petitioners are permitted to amend the cause title sofar it relates to first petitioner.
