This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the contingent bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner. 2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent- Corporation. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed the work, viz., (i) construction of CC Drain both sides from D.No. 2-9-4/1 to D.No. 2-9-5/1 & D.No. 2-4-4/1 to D. No. 2-29-72 at Redla: Bazar & D. No.2-15-11 to Ele.Pole No. S259/87 at Boppana Subba Rao street in 5th ward of Tenali Municipality, vide agreement No.468/2022-23 & 85/2023-24, 16.03.2023 & 17.11.2023; (ii) Providing CC Road from D. No. 11-3-46/5 at Ratna Sri School back side to deed end in 28th ward of Tenali Municipality Under GMP GRANT, vide agreement No.105/2023-24 and 95/2024-25, vide agreement dt.03.07.2023 & 19.12.2024; (iii) Providing CC Drain from D. No 8-1-11 to 8-1-1E in Ward No 33 of Tenali Municipality under GGMP Grant, 3 W.P. No.26093 OF 2025 Date of order: 24.09.2025 vide agreement No.118/2023-24, dt.05.08.2023, as entrusted by the 6th respondent-Corporation. 4. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed all the works to the satisfaction of the 6th respondent-Corporation and thereafter submitted final bills for a sum of Rs.2,87,817/-. It is submitted that the progress of the work was recorded in the M book, final quality assessment for the execution of the works was issued to the petitioner and the bills were approved and uploaded in the CFMS portal. However, no payment has been forthcoming. 5. During the course of the hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 6th respondent does not dispute the submissions made by the petitioner with respect to the completion of the work undertaken. 6. Considering the submissions, respondents 2 to 4 and 6 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
