It is the case of the petitioner that an Arms License was in the name of the father of the petitioner. The petitioner did apply for transfer of Arms License in his name, but it has not been decided till now. The petitioner gave an application on 17.03.2023 which is still undecided. The petitioner seeks directions that the respondent authority be directed to decide the application within a stipulated time. Learned State counsel gives a statement that the representation of the petitioner may be decided within four weeks from today. The Court takes on record the statement given by the learned State counsel. In view of the statement given by learned State counsel, the petition stands disposed of accordingly.
