Police Manual Part-1 Volume 2 and consequently direct the respondents herein to close the Rowdy Sheet as against the petitioner and to pass IA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased pleased to direct the respondents herein to not to summon the petitioner to the police station on the ground of pendency of the Rowdy Sheet vide Rowdy Sheet No. 140/2019 dated 25-11-2019 against the petitioner on the file of the 4th respondent Police Station, Guduru Mandal, Tirupati District by interfering with the personal liberty of the petitioner under the guise of surveillance pending disposal of the present writ petition and pass Counsel for the Petitioner: 1. GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 12020/2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: <....to issue writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents herein more particularly the respondent No.4 in continuing the Rowdy Sheet No. 140/2019 dated 25-11-2019 against the petitioner on the file of the 4th respondent Police Station, Guduru Mandal, Tirupati District as illegal, arbitrary violation of principles of natural justice, besides being violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and also Standing Order of the A.P. Police Manual Part-1 Volume 2 and consequently direct the respondents herein to close the Rowdy Sheet as against the petitioner and to pass.= 2. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, by way of counter affidavit, would submit that the cases registered against the Petitioner were ended in acquittal. It is further stated that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner in the vicinity, rowdy sheet was opened against the Petitioner. 3. Ms.K.Pallavi, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, no cases are pending against the petitioner. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned Rowdy Sheet No.140/2019 dated 25-11-2019, against the Petitioner is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
