Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Madhuban (Dharamabandh O.P.) P.S. Case No. 62 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 308(4), 352, 351(2) & 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (B.N.S.), 2023, pending in the court of Sri Ishraque Zeya Khan, learned J.M.F.C., Dhanbad.
Rangdari was demanded from the informant. It is alleged that on 21.07.2024, petitioner had intercepted the informant and threatened him on pistol point.
It was submitted that co-accused Seikh Ahasan @ Sheikh Guddu @ Sheikh Ahasan has been granted bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in B.A. No. 9127/2024. It was further submitted that no money was transferred to the accused persons.
Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Ishraque Zeya Khan, learned J.M.F.C., Dhanbad, or his successor, in connection with Madhuban (Dharamabandh O.P.) P.S. Case No. 62 of 2024.
