This Court, vide order dated 09.10.2025 passed in MCRC No. 2817 of 2025, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Manish Methil had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certi:ed copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raipur District-Raipur (C.G.) vide her request letter dated 09.10.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 4. It transpires from the perusal of the PUD that in the present case, the statement of the accused has already been recorded. As the accused expressed his intention to adduce defence evidence, the case was :xed for defence evidence and :nal arguments on 07/10/2025. However, the Presiding O6cer was on casual leave on 06/10/2025 and 07/10/2025. On 07/10/2025, upon a request made on behalf of the accused for granting time to lead defence evidence, the Link Court :xed the case for defence evidence and :nal arguments on 09/10/2025. Consequently, the case could not be disposed of within the stipulated period. In such circumstances, additional time is required for the :nal disposal of the case. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed o4 with the aforesaid direction. 7.
