Narendar) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, and the learned Deputy Advocate General for the State of Uttarakhand. 1 2025:UHC:2827-DB 2) The petitioners and the parents of the first petitioner, i.e., respondent No. 4 and his wife, are present and having interacted with the petitioners, the fourth respondent and the fifth respondent only insisted that the second petitioner take good care and be made responsible for the welfare of the first petitioner. The second petitioner, who is present before the Court, assures the Court that he will take the best possible care of the first petitioner, and that his parents have also accepted the marriage, and that both, he and the first petitioner, are residing along with their parents. 3) Matter has been listed in the morning, and thereafter, we had requested learned Deputy Advocate General to interact with the parents and explain the position, and matter is called in the post lunch session, and the fourth respondent, his wife, have conveyed their consent to the marriage performed between the first and second petitioner. 4) The second petitioner shall file an affidavit in the Court assuring the safety and wellbeing of the first petitioner. Affidavit to be filed within two weeks. 5) In the above circumstances, the writ petition does not call for further orders, and is, accordingly, disposed of. 2 2025:UHC:2827-DB 3 6) As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. ________________ G.
