SEPTEMBER 17, 2026 Heard for some time. 2] The Counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue involved is covered by a judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Randhir Singh Vs. Union of India And Others [(1982) 1 SCC 618]. 3] The Counsel for respondent nos. 3 and 4 – Zilla Parishad, submits that the petitioner is a contractual employee. Respondent no.5 is her employer. He submits that the petitioner is not an employee of Zilla Parishad, rather is bound by the terms of contract executed by him with respondent no.5. In that sense, grievance, if any, will be of unfair labour practice allegedly adopted by respondent no.5, for which remedy is available in terms of the Maharashtra Recognition of Trade Unions and Prevention of Unfair Labour Practices Act, 1971. 4] Accordingly, the petitioner may avail the aforesaid remedy, if so adviced. 2026:BHC-NAG:12401-DB
